Our Clinical Health Educators -- healthcare professionals such as RNs and diabetes educators -- are adherence experts. Whether working with physicians or educating patients, Clinical Health Educators optimize health by taking specific action:
- Support and train HCPs and staff members regarding adherence programs and goals
- Assist patients and caregivers in understanding and implementing treatment protocols
- Answer patient and caregiver questions concerning medication
Discuss non-pharmaceutical patient self-management, such as exercise, diet, and lifestyle - Answer patient/caregiver questions within their purview
- Direct the patient/caregiver to the HCP for answers to medical questions
- Help shape questions to ensure a more meaningful HCP interaction
