Adherence intervention is a proven means of improving health outcomes. To support our clients’ adherence efforts, we have established a clinical health center-of-excellence.

Our Clinical Health Educators -- healthcare professionals such as RNs and diabetes educators -- are adherence experts. Whether working with physicians or educating patients, Clinical Health Educators optimize health by taking specific action:

• Support and train HCPs and staff members regarding adherence programs and goals
• Assist patients and caregivers in understanding and implementing treatment protocols
• Answer patient and caregiver questions concerning medication
  Discuss non-pharmaceutical patient self-management, such as exercise, diet, and lifestyle
• Answer patient/caregiver questions within their purview
• Direct the patient/caregiver to the HCP for answers to medical questions
• Help shape questions to ensure a more meaningful HCP interaction
