Andrew has extensive experience in the life sciences industry with a strong track record of success. Previously, he served as vice president, human resources for Pfizer. Prior to that, Andrew was chief human resources officer at Geneva Global, Inc. His career history also includes director, global functions human resources operations for Hewlett-Packard, as well as assistant vice president, university relations staffing for Cigna.
Andrew is responsible for all Publicis Touchpoint Solutions human resources and recruiting functions, including employee relations, talent and recruitment, learning and development, and compensation and benefits. Andrew takes great satisfaction in the knowledge that Touchpoint’s clients are changing people’s lives—and in some cases literally saving them.
Andrew’s father was an executive for Blue Cross of Philadelphia. Growing up, his family always talked about healthcare and he knew from a young age that he would work in the industry someday.
Andrew has a classic 88 Honda Shadow motorcycle that he loves to ride on backcountry roads with his wife.

Angie has more than 15 years of leadership experience in pharmaceutical sales and recruiting. She has been a part of sales force builds from 5 to 500 people and has an impeccable track record of success. Angie is a certified AIRS® recruiter, targeted selection interviewer, diversity recruiter, and clinical health (nurse) educator recruiter.
Angie currently focuses on the full-cycle recruiting process. She leads a team of recruiters who are passionate about and committed to identifying the best possible, “right fit” talent for each and every customer. She believes that the details matter when uncovering top talent and matching that talent to the right client and position. Angie and her team bring the human touch to the world of life sciences recruiting.
Angie has always loved selling—absolutely anything. When she learned about pharmaceutical sales where she could both sell and help people, she was hooked!
Angie loves to garden and relishes in growing hybrid tomatoes. She and her husband adore dogs and are passionate about supporting Weimaraner rescue and dog training.
Erin has dedicated almost 25 years of her career to the healthcare industry and is known for implementing innovative approaches to address market needs. Prior to joining Publicis Touchpoint Solutions, Erin was a business director for Pfizer, responsible for 11 brands and a $330 million P&L. Here Erin was ranked #1 and #2 for achieving P&L targets while overseeing some of the most restrictive US markets. Prior to that, she served as regional manager for managed markets, leading account management strategy, contract execution, and the integrated health economics team. She achieved the highest recognition as a leader and contributor 5 times in her career.
Erin develops relationships with potential Touchpoint clients, consults on how they can capitalize on new opportunities, and then designs customized solutions to meet each client’s objectives. Erin joined Touchpoint because of the company’s commitment to innovation and exceptional client execution. She feels this focus allows her clients to become faster and more flexible in response to an increasingly complex marketplace.
Erin has always had an intense interest in healthcare. She received her MBA in healthcare management, organizational behavior, and marketing from Northwestern Kellogg School of Business.
Erin’s passion is cheering on her kids’ sporting teams, running, and puttering around in her garden.

Senior Vice President,
Staffing and Clinical Solutions
Steve has more than 25 years’ experience in the life sciences industry, including 16 years with Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he was division manager, regional sales director, and director of recruitment, employee relations. He has been at Publicis Touchpoint Solutions for over 9 years, where he has been involved in the recruitment of more than 6,000 sales representatives and managers and more than 2,000 direct-to-company representatives and managers. In addition, he has led the planning and recruitment efforts of numerous clinical health educator and medical science liaison (MSL) programs.
Steve oversees business development for Touchpoint’s healthcare education center-of-excellence—Touchpoint Clinical Solutions—which includes clinical health educator and MSL teams. In addition, he is responsible for the elite staffing division—Touchpoint Recruiting Solutions—that specializes in direct-to-company recruitment of the best possible, “right fit” pharmaceutical and biotech professionals.
Steve started his healthcare career volunteering at his college mental health center. His first job out of college was as a psychiatric aide and team leader.
Music is an integral part of Steve’s life. He is an accomplished pianist and loves to compose and play classical music.
Scott has nearly 20 years’ experience in the life sciences industry. Prior to Touchpoint, he served as vice president of hospital, oncology and primary care sales at Merck. His extensive career at Merck also included US regional marketing leader, Neuroscience and senior director, Strategic Planning and Customer Solutions.
Scott is passionate about his work—and it shows. He loves to help healthcare companies determine the best way to share the benefits of their products with customers and patients. He works as a true partner to help them achieve (or exceed) their goals while adapting to the new pharma business model.
Since his school days, Scott always loved science and developed a passion for healthcare. Working in the pharmaceutical industry was a perfect fit.
Scott spends time with his wife, Cheryl, and their 4 children—3 boys and a girl. Needless to say, they are pretty busy! He loves coaching youth sports teams (soccer and baseball) and stays active in his church. When he can find some spare time, he enjoys playing golf and watching sports on TV (with his English Bulldog, Yogi)!

Chief Operating Officer
Michelle has over 25 years of experience in the life sciences industry. She was formerly vice president, business development with The Visiting Nurse Service of New York, the largest not-for-profit homecare provider in the United States. Prior to that, Michelle spent over 20 years at Pfizer, most recently serving as regional vice president, Midwest. She held a number of increasingly responsible senior positions throughout her career with Pfizer, leading operations, marketing, sales, strategy, public affairs, and managed markets.
Michelle is responsible for all aspects of Publicis Touchpoint Solutions commercial business and P&L. Her role includes planning and developing strategic business direction, corporate objectives, operating efficiencies, and company budgets. Michelle enjoys developing collaborative partnerships with her clients to custom-design cross-channel solutions that both optimize ROI and improve the lives of patients.
Michelle’s leadership skills were honed as a young adult. She ran for—and won—the office of senior class president at Seton Hall University. She recruited her campaign ticket to surround herself with a talented, diverse group that reflected a balanced team. Her entire ticket won the election and she spoke at her university graduation. Michelle was always interested in healthcare. Her mother was a nurse and one of her first jobs was working for a psychiatrist.
Michelle loves to travel with her family!
President and CEO
Rick is a 30-year industry veteran with broad-based experience in leading commercial operations. Most recently he was senior vice president, commercial operations with Biovail Corporation. Previously, Rick served as vice president, sales for Pharmacia Corporation. Prior to Pharmacia, Rick spent 11 years at Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories, where he held a number of increasingly responsible senior positions in the company’s institutional and primary care divisions.
Rick has overall responsibility for Publicis Touchpoint Solutions centers-of-excellence that include promotional and clinical message delivery, as well as field and contact center channels and support solutions. Rick always wants to be where “the puck is going” and not just where it is today. So his challenge and the challenge he poses to his team is to constantly innovate.
Rick’s first industry job was as a sales representative for AH Robins Company in his home state of West Virginia.
Rick’s newest “hobby” is the complete renovation of an 80-acre Bucks County farm that he and his wife purchased several years ago. He says they are making progress. This year they took down the old barn and are beginning to build a new one. Rick also enjoys golf, woodworking, hunting, fishing, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, hiking, and scuba diving.

Marketing and Communications
Betsy has over 25 years’ experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. She began her career as a pharmaceutical sales representative and moved on to positions of increasing responsibility, including divisional sales manager and product manager with Johnson & Johnson’s Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining Publicis Touchpoint Solutions, Betsy had been working on the agency side of the industry. She has led agency teams in 7 product launches.
Betsy oversees all corporate marketing, communications, and promotional strategies for Touchpoint.
Betsy’s interest in healthcare began as a small child when she became obsessed with performing multiple “surgeries” on her toy sock monkey. As a teenager, she volunteered at her local hospital as a paramedic and her first job at age 16 was working for the community mental health center at that same community hospital.
Betsy and her husband, Mitch, publish a weekly press release, flyer, and website—www.CritterCorner.org—publicizing pets available for adoption at their local animal shelter. They live in New Jersey with their 9 “furry and feathered kids” that are all rescues.
Senior Vice President,
Contact Center Operations
Eileen brings over 20 years’ experience in pharmaceutical and healthcare operations, including customer service execution, project management and implementation, process standards, and quality assurance. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Flagler College, specializing in public relations and advertising. Eileen began her career as senior manager, bankruptcy operations for JP Morgan Chase Card Services. Prior to joining Touchpoint, she served as senior director, operational services and senior director, contact center operations for Cardinal Health (formerly Boron LePore).
Eileen’s role at Publicis Touchpoint Solutions is to ensure seamless execution for clients as her contact center teams communicate key messages and engage in quality interactions with physicians, patients, and consumers through field-alternative channels. Eileen oversees all aspects of internal global business operations for Touchpoint contact centers and continually looks for new, innovative solutions for her clients.
Eileen has been managing people, events, and details since she was on her high school’s student council. She says, “It’s in my DNA!”
When Eileen is not working, you’ll probably find her spending time with her 2 children—Henry and Grace—and her husband, Andrew. She also loves to garden and grows more than 30 different types of vegetables every summer!

Recruiting and Training Solutions
Marianne has more than 25 years in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry. Previous roles have included VP, training, training and development for Innovex Quintiles; product manager (women’s health) for Organon Pharmaceuticals; and various management positions of increasing responsibilities within pharmaceutical sales, medical education, and healthcare consulting. Marianne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism with a concentration in marketing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Marianne is vice president, recruiting and training solutions at Publicis Touchpoint Solutions. Her role is to oversee all recruiting and training initiatives, provide strategic insight, and ensure that all recruiting and training objectives are achieved through seamless implementation. Marianne believes that by asking clients the right questions, we can design the ideal solution to meet their needs and goals.
Marianne’s uncle worked for Convatec when she was a teenager and told her that she would do well in this industry. She believed him—and the rest is history.
On the weekends Marianne loves spending time with her kids and hunting for estate sale treasures with her husband. She enjoys home decorating and loves retro, mid-century style.
Chief Financial Officer
Al has extensive experience in executive management and senior-level finance positions in the life sciences industry. Prior to joining Publicis Touchpoint Solutions, he was CFO at Orthovita Inc. Before that, he was senior vice president for finance and operations at PDI, Inc. Al also served at AstraZeneca as their sales force controller for the finance department. He earned both his BBA and MBA at Temple University and is a Fellow Alumnus of the Wharton School of Business.
Al manages Touchpoint’s financial resources and partners with the company’s president, COO, and general managers in guiding the organization. His responsibilities include overseeing the company’s financial and business policies, managing accounting practices, and directing the budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, real estate, risk management, and legal functions. Al works closely with Touchpoint’s clients and helps them adapt to the new biopharmaceutical business model.
Al grew up in a community in which Merck was a major influence and he became interested in healthcare very early in his life.
Al enjoys spending his free time with his family.
Senior Vice President,
Technology and Commercial Solutions
Mark has over 20 years’ experience in the healthcare industry. He has served on several executive management teams, including Bristol-Myers Squibb; Pfizer Global Pharmaceuticals (Pharmacia); Sanofi-Aventis, where he held the position of vice president, business analytics and operations; and more recently as the vice president of offshore programs and custom pharmaceutical solutions for Wolters Kluwer Pharma Solutions. Mark’s areas of expertise include marketing research, sales operations, and analytics. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in biology from the University of Madras, Madras, India, an MBA with a specialization in marketing from the University of Madras, and an MS in management systems specializing in advanced analytics from Clarkson University, Potsdam, New York.
Mark is responsible for all technology-based solutions and commercial analytics for Publicis Touchpoint Solutions. He leads company-wide efforts to enhance all customer-directed technologies, systems, tools and processes, and analytical capabilities across the organization to address strategic and tactical commercial requirements.
Mark was always fascinated by science. His first inspiration was his father, who was a physician with the World Health Organization.
Mark is president of the South Asian Pharmaceutical Council that makes access to healthcare and rehabilitation available to the underprivileged in South Asia.
Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer
Maria has over 15 years in the healthcare industry. She served most recently as the vice president, legal, regulatory, and professional affairs with the Greater New York Hospital Association. Previously, Maria was with Novartis Pharmaceutical Corporation as director, ethics and compliance. She exhibits in-depth expertise in legal, regulatory, and policy issues with particular focus on HIPAA privacy, infection control, and prevention issues.
Maria is responsible for the oversight and management of Touchpoint’s compliance program as well as ensuring that all client-specific compliance components are achieved. She believes that by aligning business goals with compliance objectives, she can help clients make educated risk decisions and create a solid foundation upon which their businesses can thrive.
Maria’s first healthcare experience was working in the laundry of a hospital and it was enough to get her interested in the industry. Growing up, she loved enforcing rules…she was the school hallway monitor, a lifeguard, a resident advisor, etc. Given this past, it was inevitable that she would become a compliance officer someday!
Going on hikes with her dog Molly is one of Maria’s favorite things to do. She is proud to say that she’s run 3 marathons (slowly) and is in the process of becoming a yoga instructor.
